Hot on the heels of Lifetime Budget support, Microsoft Advertising has introduced Budget Scheduling for Audience Ads,giving advertisers more control over when budgets are spent within a campaign’s lifespan.
Advertisers can now set different budget caps across specific date ranges, allowing for planned bursts during sales, launches, or peak seasons all without needing multiple campaigns.
Key features:
- Set custom budget limits by week or date range
- Combine with lifetime budgeting for better pacing
- Works with manual and enhanced CPC bidding
- Not yet available for search campaigns
- No support for shared budgets (yet)
A demo slide shows the budget scheduling interface, highlighting “Add Date Range” options and a preview of the daily spend plan.
Why it matters: Flexible budget pacing means advertisers can align spend with real business goals without resetting campaign learnings.
