Afflr and its affiliates (collectively “the App”, “the Apps”, “we” and “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy and processing your personally identifiable information (referred to as “PII” or “personal data” or “personal information”) with transparency.

Affiliate Marketing – Afflr

The App allows merchants to create and launch an Affiliate program for their store, herein collectively referred as “the Service”.

This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the Apps Collect

When you install the Apps, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

  • Basic Store Information including store domain, owner email address, and Shopify subscription plan level
  • Customer Information including customer name and email address
  • Order Information including order name/number, financial status, fulfillment status, related customer, and total price
  • Product Information including product name, variant information, pricing, and imagery
  • Theme Information including HTML for current live theme
  • Discount Information including discount codes and their corresponding rules

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from your customers once you have installed the app: Information about individuals who sign up as affiliates or their audience for the affiliate program, such as their name, email address, IP address, and information about the cookies installed on the particular device.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, or using the following technologies: “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. If you are a merchant’s customer and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchants you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf, and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.

Data Retention

When you use the App, we will maintain your information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. Additionally, after uninstalling the app, we will redact all personal information stored.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
